What's Inside the Formaldehyde Scoping Document?
Justin, Savage, Sam Boxerman and Marshal Morales, Sidley LLP

Justin Savage | Sam Boxerman | Marshal Morales |
There have been five separate rulemakings over a nine-year period to fully implement and clarify the Toxic Substances Control Act Title VI requirements for formaldehyde … and still the process has not concluded. The latest action – release of a “draft scope document” outlining how EPA will conduct its risk assessment of formaldehyde, as required by TSCA – prompts this webinar. The team of presenters from Sidley’s Washington, D.C., environmental practice group will provide an update on the TSCA risk evaluation process and the TSCA “fees rule.” Justin Savage focuses on high-stakes environmental litigation at Sidley, including government enforcement actions, internal investigations, and rulemaking challenges. Over the course of more than two decades, Boxerman has defended clients in environmental enforcement litigation brought by the United States, individual states and NGOs under major federal environmental laws. He also handles environmental regulatory matters under major environmental laws. Morales’ practice focuses on complex environmental compliance, enforcement and litigation. He advises clients on air and waste laws, chemicals and pesticide regulation, product stewardship and contaminated site remediation.
See additional webinars in this series listed in August, September, October and November.
