The International Casual Furnishings Association will host its annual Awards Gala on Wednesday evening, September 22, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, marking the opportunity to recognize outstanding performances in the current year as well as 2020.
The 2020 event was held as an online program to announce recipients of the full roster of annual awards, but without celebration for the honorees and winners. “I look forward to this year’s Gala serving as the ideal opportunity for colleagues throughout the outdoor furnishings industry to reconnect,” said Jackie Hirschhaut, ICFA Executive Director. “We’ll be juggling a heavy schedule with two years of awards to hand out but will once again cap the program with an after-party where everyone will be able to offer personal congratulations to all the winners.”
The Awards Gala program highlights presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Apollo Awards for retail excellence, Manufacturer of the Year and Sales Representative of the Year. In addition, the Lillian B. Winchester “Best of Show Award” is selected from among 12 category winners in the annual Design Excellence competition honoring top outdoor product designs, coupled with the Lilly Awards given to the top furniture and non-furniture entries.
And, for the fourth year, ICFA will donate a portion of each ticket sale to City of Hope, the renowned Duarte, Calif.-based research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
Tickets for ICFA members can be ordered from the ICFA website, www.icfanet.org/2021-Awards-Dinner-Reservations, for $85 per person or $800 for a table of 10. Tickets for non-members are $110 each and $1,100 for a table of 10. Sponsorship of the ICFA Awards Gala is available in a variety of levels at www.icfanet.org/2021-Awards-Gala-Sponsorship.
The annual ICFA Awards Gala is underwritten by theMART, co-sponsor of Casual Market Chicago.
